In line with our commitment to the highest safety standards, we are recalling one batch of Feline Cuisine cat food with the following expiry date, as it may be contaminated with Salmonella and should not be fed to your cat.

Why are we recalling this product?
During routine in-production quality testing, certain batches manufactured during the affected period were isolated to be sent for destruction. Subsequent checks have revealed that this specific batch has been identified in the formal retail sector and as a result we are recalling Feline Cuisine Adult Salmon & Rice 4kg, expiring on 27/08/2026.
All other Feline Cuisine products are safe to feed your cat.
What is Salmonella?
Salmonella is a well-recognised food and feed safety pathogen capable of surviving in dry-processing environments, that can cause illness in pets and humans.
If your cat shows any signs of illness after consuming dry cat food, owners should consult their veterinarian promptly. Washing hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling cat food is the most important step in preventing potential transmission to people.
What to do if you have this product:
- Stop feeding it to your cat or any other animals.
- Do not donate or sell it.
- Bag the product
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling it.
- Return the bagged product to the store where you purchased it from for a full refund or replacement.
